6 things to consider when choosing built-in bathroom accessories
From wall depth to tile joints, from plumbing preparation to finish color: the decisions to make at the start of a project when choosing built-in products.
Materials

The bathroom is one of the most demanding environments in a home: constant humidity, hot steam, cleaning chemicals and splashing water. Whether a product set into the wall keeps its shape for years in these conditions starts with the body material.
AISI 304 is an austenitic stainless steel grade containing chromium and nickel. The chromium forms a thin, self-renewing oxide layer on the surface. This layer protects the steel against corrosion and re-forms on contact with air even if the surface is scratched. That is why it is the material of choice wherever hygiene matters, from kitchen equipment to the food industry.
PNR AQUA bodies are made from 1 mm sheet steel. This thickness keeps the body in shape under the pressure of plaster and adhesive during built-in installation, and gives the cover hinges a solid base.
A good body goes unseen, but it is the reason the bathroom stays as it was on the first day.
